Getting into the Scene – Independent Comics

Was Comiket already a month ago?  It only seems like days ago that James was bemoaning the fact that seeing so many awesome comics in one day can lead to severe wallet drainage. But was that really a month ago? That’s almost ancient history if one considers it in Twitter time (where 5 seconds is like, totally ages ago)
So on that basis the notes I have found in my hard drive must be considered as relics of a bygone era. Yet these notes of far April contain resonance with today’s age – the modern age of May. There is much that may be learnt by the antiquated scroll called ‘Getting into Comics (Learnings From Comiket)’

Top Indie Publisher Reports – Comica 2012

Noodle Reading

Its close to the end of the month and most of us are in the same boat, skint and counting down the days until payday. So what better way to to limit ones cash-flow than to go to the Comica Festival in Bishopsgate… and end up blowing all that was left in my bank account. *sigh*
